ESSENCE aims to harness the huge potential that exists within Indonesia for the growth of MSMEs, particularly those within the digital sector. Collaborating with the UK-Indonesia Tech Hub - an initiative of the British Embassy in Jakarta - the UNDP and the AIS Forum have launched this programme to empower women, youths and people with disabilities and grant them access to the digital economy and entrepreneurial pathways. 1500 participants were onboarded for four weeks of hybrid training in essential business skills, including digital literacy.
